Half Day Options

3-Year-Old Class

  • Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday, 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Tuition: $2,200/year ($220 monthly)
  • Requirements: Must be 3 by August 1st and toilet trained.
  • Focus: Your child will develop socialization skills and get introduced to shapes, colors, and numbers.

4-Year-Old Class

  • Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Tuition: $2,700/year ($270 monthly)
  • Requirements: Must be 4 by August 1st.
  • Focus: Your child will practice writing and develop motor skills through creative group activities.

Pre-K Class

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Tuition: $3,500/year ($350 monthly)
  • Focus: Your child will engage in an advanced extension of the A Beka curriculum to ensure full kindergarten readiness.

Full Day / Extended Care

3 & 4-Year-Old Full Day

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Tuition: $6,000/year ($600 monthly)
  • Focus: Your child gets the benefit of the morning curriculum plus enrichment classes in Music, Gym, and Literacy.

After School Program

  • Schedule: 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM (For enrolled full-day students)
  • Cost: $7/hour ($18 flat rate if staying until 5:30 PM)
  • Activities: Your child will enjoy nutritious snacks and outside play.

Note: Not available on holidays or snow days.

Financial Details:

  • Registration & Supply Fee: $150 (Non-refundable)
  • Sibling Discounts: You save 20% on your second child and 25% on your third child.

Director & Preschool Teacher

Joni teaches the Four-Year-Old Half Day class and serves as the Preschool Director. For the past 23 years, she has dedicated herself to educating children and sharing the love of Jesus with families at Journey. Her passion is to make an invisible God visible by providing a loving, safe, and Christ-filled environment for every child.

Brynn holds a BA from the University of Kentucky and has been teaching at Journey Preschool since 2021. Her family has called Journey Church home for over ten years, where they love serving in the Children’s Ministry. Brynn and her husband, Nathan, have three very active kids and love taking family trips to the beach.

Tabatha holds both a BS and MS in Elementary Education and brings 13 years of teaching experience to the classroom. She is passionate about helping little ones grow academically, emotionally, and spiritually. Tabatha and her husband, Seth, have lived in Versailles for seven years and are raising two teenage boys. In her free time, she enjoys Bible studies, cooking, taking walks, and watching basketball.

Velicia leads the Four-Year-Old Full Day class and has been nurturing 3, 4, and 5-year-olds at Journey Preschool for 21 years. In addition to her background in nursing and business, she continues her early childhood education through DOTS and the Child Care Council of Kentucky.

Julia teaches the Three-Year-Old class, having served as an aide with the preschool family for the past two years. Born and raised in Versailles, she and her husband, Peter, have two children attending Huntertown Elementary. Their family loves the outdoors, the lake, and caring for their home zoo—which includes a cat, two frogs, a gecko, and five hermit crabs! They are members of Versailles Baptist Church.
